I Can Play It

From vision...

Our client believed with a passion in the need for a better, more interactive e-learning music product for schools. Something of high quality to complement the National Curriculum; which could get some of the UK's leading music teachers from the worlds of guitar, clarinet and piano directly into every music room or home.

Surely, with video, multimedia and broadband, it would be possible?

...to value

As we developed a close working relationship with the entrepreneurs behind the vision, we realised the enormity of the challenge which would require previously unheard of levels of technical integration, and all of which would need to meet online accessibility standards.

Could we stretch the web and deliver an amazing solution? Read all about the finished product and judge for yourself...

Deliverables

We built a proprietary, patent-protected delivery platform and integrated every video lesson with on-screen graphics to demonstrate not only the music score, but also the fingering for keys, strings or valves as the playing takes place.

 Media travels both ways
 as students record and
 submit their work in
 each lesson.

In all, we integrated 22 different technologies to create this solution, including a .NET core, Flash, RealPlayer and e-commerce services from different providers, to allow users a choice for payment. The solution drew plaudits from the likes of Research Machines and RealPlayer, who appreciated the groundbreaking nature of what we had achieved for the client.

The 'I Can Play It' idea has now been recognised with an Alliance For Innovation Award.

If you have an idea that "stretches the web", give us a call and we can discuss turning it into something real.
